Need to better my game!

Hey everyone I just started playin disc golf like 4 months ago and have picked it up pretty fast. but i fell like i have hit a plataue and i think its b/c i play with the same people over and over and so i don't get better. I have a group of 5 or so friends that play and besides my 1st month of playing with them i beat them everytime i go out . so inside i fell good but i no its not helping me improve. I just recently went out to a field(someone suggested it) and threw my discs for over and hour. I played the next day and shot the best score of my life -2. But i have played 6 or 7 times since then and have been getting +5 and +8 and have become discouraged. I get online and watch videos or pros and stuff that is supposed to help the mechanics of your throw and things like that. But by saying all that what i am trying to get to is i would love for someone experienced and someone who can tell me what i am doing wrong to come play 18 with me. I think it would help my game tremendeously b/c with me being new i have no idea what i am doing wrong. I haven't been out to any of the leagues b/c it conflicts with work. but i would love any help i can get and i take corrective critism quite well! So if any one would like to spend a few hours playing and teaching me i would appreciate it soo much.

But, I will say I think it is a great idea to try to play with the experienced guys. I have been fortunate to play with some of the best at McCulloch and it has definitely helped me to improve.

Also... be patient with yourself. For only playing 4 months you are a prodigy, Bro. I don't think Marc and Brett and Sean and some of these other guys got to the level they are at in only 4 months. They have all been playing for many years. They can correct me if I am wrong. Don't forget to have fun!

hey zrab... you could always come out on sunday after leagues. we always play another round after the leagues are over. id be happy to give you some pointers as would any of the guys that play out here. just keep playin...repetition is the mother of skill. i will also be out saturday with some new players. im not sure yet when we are goin but i would say around 12:00.

I think Marc needs to hold a putting clinic.... not that the rest of his game isn't great but I know that's my biggest weakness and Marc is awesome.
