Has anyone else out here tried the PD (Power Driver) from Discmania? If you haven't, you should. It is a great and versatile disc in the different plastics and weights. Its lower mold is the wing from the Firebird, and the top mold is the standard Discmania top that you will find on most of the Discmania drivers. Currently, you can only get the C-PD (Champion plastic) as a CFR disc. It is a nice overstable disc that will fly str8 for a while then fade hard. It's not wicked overstable though. There is an S-PD (Star plastic) that flies a little less stable than the C. Then there is the P-PD (Pro plastic). Depending on the weight you get, this disc can be anywhere from a str8 flier to an anhyzer machine. In general I've heard people compare PD's to being a slightly longer Teebird. I think it's way better than a Teebird, as I have been able to get so much out of the PD's and have not yet really gotten the hang of Teebirds. But with this one mold, you can essentially cover your whole driver range, except maybe that it doesnt do the super meathook role. I like to throw my P-PD the most, and to throw it with a little hyzer to get a relatively str8 line with a small fade. Dogvsraptor saw at the Muncie Open how when I stopped trying to throw faster discs and went to the P-PD thrown with hyzer, I started throwing much better. Seriously, even if they don't make it into your bag, the PD's are worth checking out. Oh, and the new TD (Turning Driver) is a good disc too.
